Pisces is a family business, owned and run by Ed and Gillian Frazer together with their son Andrew, son-in-laws David and Nick, and over 70 full time professional staff.
Founded in 1971, Pisces began supplying pet and aquarium shops with aquarium plants and aquatic snails.
Travel overseas, plant breeding and development utilizing our in-house quarantine and tissue culture facilities, has enabled us to offer the largest range of aquarium plants in Australia.
In the early 1990’s a need was identified for a reliable supplier of insects to the zoos and wildlife sanctuaries. Research and development has resulted in our extensive climate controlled facilities that provide a year round supply of consistently high quality live food.
Pisces is the Australian leader in the breeding and cultivation of insects for food.
Our 52 acres in Brisbane and 300 acre farm on the QLD-NSW border, with its unique facilities, represents our commitment to service the aquarium, pet and zoo industries now and in the future. |
